- Summary: Work in the church in Ziga. They have laid slabs and cleaned the stairs. The regional council subsidised part of the work and the rest was paid for by old residents of Ziga living in Mexico. The work was done in “auzolan”. There used to be smaller church before the current one. A great deal of the cost of building was paid by the local priest at that time. Lightening destroyed the tower in 1821, but it was fixed in two years. In 1904, the reredos currently in the church was brought from Saint Nicholas’ in Pamplona.
